VIX Technology develops market leading techniques for low power consumption displays, making it possible to run TFT/LED-based displays on night time electricity (taken from nearest street light or weather shelter). The built-in batteries are charged during night time when there is power available.

The major advantage by having a display system for public transport that runs on night time electricity is a much more cost-effective installation procedure.
