December 2016, London – Vix Technology, the global provider of integrated transit fare
collection and passenger information systems, will be exhibiting and speaking at Transport
Ticketing Global 2017 in London on the 24th and 25th of January.
The largest event in the world devoted to transport ticketing and real time passenger
information technology, over 800 delegates come together from local and national
governments, public transport operators and technology providers, to discuss the
industry’s future. Featuring case studies from operators from each continent, as well as indepth
industry debates and panel discussions, the conference is backed up by over 70
exhibitors showcasing the very latest in ticketing technology.
Setting the agenda for the conference, Aaron Ross, managing director of Vix Technology
in EMEA, will deliver the keynote speech. Adrian Kelly, global head of product, will also be
speaking on the first day, delving into the topic of creating a single market for mobility as a
service (MaaS) solutions.
As the event’s ticketing partner, Vix will also be deploying and managing the ticketing at
the event. Utilising RFID technology with chips embedded into the delegate lanyards,
scanners will seamlessly control access to the event, as well as track delegate attendance
to each of the conference streams. The data, tokenised for data protection purposes, will
then be fed into a random draw to win a number of technology prizes throughout the

In 2011, Vix Technology delivered the Integrated Ticketing Smart Card (“Leap Card”) for the National Transport Authority (NTA) in Dublin.
